Welcome to ‘East of Eden Mountaineering’ and the chance to take part in a climbing or mountaineering experience that will enable you to develop your future trips in the mountains. Whatever your ability the aim is for you to increase your knowledge of the skills required to enjoy mountaineering in safety but at an appropriate level of challenge.

Aims:

To offer stimulating mountain instruction appropriate to the level of the participants.

To develop the mountaineering potential of each individual by tailoring courses to participants' present level of ability.

To offer the highest levels of customer service by consultation before, during and after each course.

To equip participants with the knowledge and best practice to act safely and responsibly in the mountains within the understanding that mountaineering is a dangerous activity*.

*The British Mountaineering Council and Mountaineering Council of Scotland recognise that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury and death, participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and take responsibility for their own actions and involvement.
